Pete Oveson

Pete Oveson

President

Pete was appointed President of Trojan Technologies in December 2024, with responsibility for the growth and strategic direction of the global organization.

Pete has worked in various roles across water and industrial process industries over the past 18 years. He started his career as a design engineer and project manager for Brown & Caldwell. He later transitioned to management consulting at McKinsey & Company. Pete joined the Danaher Water Quality Platform in 2018 to drive strategy and M&A projects, he later transitioned within the Danaher/Veralto organization to McCrometer, where he ultimately served as President. At work, Pete enjoys partnering with people across functions and disciplines to solve difficult customer problems while driving operational efficiency.

When Pete isn’t in the office partnering with the Trojan team, he is likely to be found spending time with his wife and three kids doing a number of outdoor activities, including mountain biking, rock climbing, or snow skiing.

Pete earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and B/S & M/S degrees in Civil and Environmental engineering from Utah State University, where he worked as a graduate student at the Utah Water Research Laboratory.

Jo Anne Van Hooydonk

Jo Anne Van Hooydonk, CPA, CA

Vice President, Finance and IT, CFO

Jo Anne joined the Trojan Technologies team in 2013 as the Compliance Controller. In 2015, Jo Anne was appointed CFO and Vice President of Trojan Technologies, and in 2020, her role was expanded to include leading the Information Technologies & Systems division.


Jo Anne earned her bachelor’s degree in Honors Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). Before her career at Trojan, Jo Anne was the Senior Manager at Ernst & Young LLP in Assurance and Advisory Practices working with both public and private clients and was involved in Mergers & Acquisition transactions in a variety of industries.


Jo Anne can also be found spending time with her husband attending their children’s countless sporting events or actively volunteering in the community. She is an avid traveler, but also appreciates time to unwind and socialize with her friends and family.

Kevin Spehr

Kevin Spehr

Vice President, Global Sales & Customer Experience

Kevin is the Vice President of Global Sales and Service, focusing on supporting customers with their water treatment needs. Kevin joined Trojan Technologies in 2017 as Aria Filtra’s (formerly Pall Water) Sales & Marketing Director and transitioned to lead Trojan’s Service & Product Management organizations which he held until 2022.


Over his 20-year career, Kevin has experience leading various business functions in B2B municipal and industrial markets. Kevin’s entrepreneurial spirit stems from his early days working in the family capital equipment business servicing the transportation industry.


Kevin frequently supports his children in their volleyball games, whether it’s on the beach or indoor gyms. He can also be found trying to light the lamp in his weekly adult hockey league, hitting the slopes on various mountains, taking family trips anywhere with warm weather, and playing chess.


Kevin holds an Honours Business Administration – Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University, which sparked his interest in analytics, financials, and sales.

Natalia Yurkevich

Natalia Yurkevich

Vice President, Human Resources

Natalia joined Trojan Technologies in October 2020 as Vice President, Human Resources. She is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition and organizational development strategies.


Before joining the Trojan team, Natalia was the Vice President of Human Resources at AECOM. She gained further experience through roles of increasing responsibility at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Accenture, Foresters Financial, and Philips Electronics.
Natalia holds a Bachelor’s degree and a post graduate diploma in Education from Minsk State Linguistic University in Belarus and a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources from Ryerson University.


Natalia is involved in event planning and volunteering activities in the local community. She loves spending time with her friends and family competing in cooking competitions, taking road trips, or enjoying any activity outdoors.

Sikander Gill

Sikander Gill

Vice President, Operations

Sikander joined Trojan Technologies in April 2022 as Vice President of Operations. In this role, he is responsible for leading world-class operational processes across Trojan’s global footprint. Sikander is passionate about driving sustainable growth through high-performing teams by continuously raising the bar and fostering a collaborative, winning culture.

 

Prior to joining Trojan, Sikander served as Vice President of Masco Canada. He has also held increasingly senior roles at Magna International and Amazon, where he led large-scale operations.

 

Sikander earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA with a focus on Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University.

 

In his personal time, Sikander enjoys sharing his love of reading, traveling, and sports with his family and friends, while also striving to promote health and well-being.

Katrina Williams

Katrina Williams, P.Eng.

Vice President, Innovation & Technology

Katrina was appointed Vice President, Innovation & Technology (I&T) in 2023, where she leads the I&T team with the innovation process and product roadmap so the organization can continuously provide customers with sustainable solutions to their complex water issues.


Katrina’s passion for safe and reliable water started in 1991 where she engaged in global water issues through her endeavors with NGO’s. This experience led her to start her career with Trojan Technologies is 2002 where she held progressive leadership roles across the organization in multiple different functions.


This experience, combined with her love of all things outdoors related, paved the way to a 20-year career in the water sector.


Katrina is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds Engineering and Environmental Science degrees from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

Gen Izutsu

Gen Izutsu

Vice President, Marketing and Product

Gen was appointed Vice President of Marketing and Product in 2024, where he is responsible for driving the long-term commercial success of new and existing products across the portfolio and supporting Trojan's strategic planning process. His previous role was Vice President of VES (Veralto Enterprise Systems), where he was responsible for developing and leading the execution of VES strategy across Trojan Technologies.


Gen joined Trojan from within Danaher, where he worked in numerous progressive roles in Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Research & Development, as well as extracurricular focus on process improvement projects in plants and service organizations across Europe and the Americas.


Prior to joining Danaher, Gen was in non-profit management then opened and operated a restaurant for several years. His biggest passion is coaching and mentorship and is most energized by helping others achieve their goals while making an impact on communities and the world at large.


Gen resides in Atlanta with his wife and an overwhelming number of plants. In his free time, Gen exercises his green thumb and nerds out about cocktail ingredients and technique. As a first-generation immigrant, he is a strong advocate of DE&I.


Gen holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
